Hatchery Driver is responsible for the safe collection of eggs from breeder farms and Delivery of Day-old chicks from Hatchery to Broiler Farms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role should be typically an 80% driving and 20% loading unloading of Egg and Day old chicks. Truck & Driving Loading eggs from trolleys onto truck at farm – unloading eggs at hatchery. Loading and unloading of Day-old chicks from company vehicles on farm.
Ensure the inside of trucks are kept clean & tidy. Follow road rules and drive in a safe manner at all times
Follow basic fatigue management guidelines. Ensure all licence requirements are kept valid. Delivery of product Secure unloading of Eggs and chicks from the truck.
Ensure pallet transfer or exchange is completed and monitor numbers.
Ensure animal welfare. Accurate record keeping.
Timely delivery. Notify damages or threats immediately.
