Senior Project Engineer — Civil & Structural FIFO, DIDO, and Local Projects

Experienced Senior Project Engineer needed for civil and structural infrastructure projects on a FIFO/DIDO 14/7 roster regional Queensland

The Role:

C.M.B Consulting Services is supporting local Client for their upcoming projects with Regional Queensland Project. The successful candidates will work closely with the PM and agile team to drive construction delivery — structures, culverts, stormwater drainage, bulk earthworks, and road construction. Hands-on, strong site presence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Delivering Complex RFP and culvert structures or similar
- Managing day-to-day construction activities across civil/structural scopes
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams on site
- Preparing/reviewing ITPs, hold/witness points,



quality documentation
- Managing RFIs, technical submissions, and design coordination
- Tracking schedules, budgets, and progress claims
- Site inspections, audits, and punch list management
- Supporting contract administration and variation management

What You Bring:

- 5+ years as SPE in civil/structural infrastructure
- Hands‑on with RFP structures, culverts, reinforced concrete, and drainage etc
- Strong technical documentation (ITPs, RFIs, method statements)
- Relevant engineering degree (Civil/Structural)
- FIFO/DIDO experience on remote/regional sites an advantage
