We are posting an ad on behalf of our client, Little Genius Cottage. Position: Childcare Worker Location: Chifley NSW 2036 Salary: $78,000 - $82,000 plus Superannuation

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children in accordance with centre policies and safety regulations
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Observe and document children’s development, behaviour, and progress
- Support children’s social and emotional development, encouraging positive interactions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations




- Adhere to all relevant childcare standards, licensing requirements, and workplace health and safety policies

Qualifications

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and safety regulations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
