Protech are seeking an experienced Plant Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast.
This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Immediate starts available
- Full time hours casualMon to Fri, with ability to work 5.5 days per week
- Minimal wet weather interruptions
- Ordinary hours starting from $42 per hour+ Overtime rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently within a quarry environment
- Load, move and stockpile quarry materials in line with production requirements
- Work collaboratively with site personnel to support daily operations
- Conduct pre-start checks and maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping
- Follow site procedures and contribute to a productive team environment

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED





- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (mandatory)
- Experience operating mobile plant in a quarry, mining, civil, or heavy industry environment
- Experience operating Loaders (with scales), Dump Trucks, or similar earthmoving equipment highly regarded
- Relevant mobile plant tickets or VOCs advantageous
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
