t Columbas School Bayswater, (Catholic Education Western Australia LTD) are seeking a Teacher to join our team of nurturing, professional and fun loving staff. The position involves teaching Religious Education. As an applicant, you must be a practising Catholic. This position is temporary, replacing a teacher on leave.

The fixed term of employment period is: 1 January 2027 - 31 December 2027.

Selection Criteria:

n

- Be a practising Catholic as evidenced through a Parish Priest Reference;
n
- Must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties;
n
- Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with all staff as part of a professional learning community;
n
- A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning;
n
- Demonstrates the ability to use data to inform practice based on evidence-based research;
n
- Knowledge and use of high impact strategies in their teaching practice;
n
- An inclusive teacher who can support students with diverse learning,



social and cultural needs through the constant promotion of safety and wellbeing;
n
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and protected environment;
n
- Understands the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions.

Qualifications Required:

n

- A relevant 4 year tertiary qualification;
n
- Current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA;
n
- Hold or be working towards Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
