Head of Property Management – People & Performance | $100K-$130K + Super An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Property Management leader to step into a senior position focused on people, performance, capability and culture.
This is a leadership role for someone who genuinely enjoys leading, coaching and developing people, with the opportunity to shape team performance, strengthen accountability and build a high-performing Property Management culture.
You'll work closely with the broader leadership team while taking ownership of the people side of the Property Management department.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing visible and proactive leadership across the Property Management team
- Conducting regular 1:1s and providing meaningful coaching and support
- Establishing explicit performance expectations and KPIs
- Identifying capability gaps and implementing development plans
- Addressing underperformance and leading difficult performance conversations
- Developing training and professional development initiatives
- Identifying emerging leaders and creating career pathways
- Monitoring team engagement, morale and retention
- Supporting recruitment, candidate assessment and onboarding
- Managing probation and development processes for new team members
- Supporting team dynamics and resolving interpersonal issues
- Identifying workload and resourcing concerns across the team
- Recognising and developing high performers
- Supporting the ongoing improvement of Property Management standards and culture
What We're Looking For:
- Strong residential Property Management experience
- Previous leadership or team management experience
- Proven ability to coach and develop Property Managers
- Strong understanding of KPIs and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding people accountable
- Highly organised and structured approach
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Ability to build trust while maintaining accountability
- Confident, decisive and solutions-focused leadership style
- Genuine interest in developing people and building high-performing teams The Details:
