- About the Role

As the Health and Security Services Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of effective and responsive Health and Security Services across Kempsey Health Campus.

You’ll provide leadership to the Health and Security Assistant team, oversee day-to-day security operations, manage incidents and emergency responses, and ensure services meet NSW Health requirements and relevant legislation.

You’ll also contribute to risk management, audits, emergency preparedness, training and continuous improvement, working with key stakeholders to strengthen safety and security across the campus.

- About You

You’re an experienced security leader who can confidently balance people leadership, operational priorities and risk management within a complex healthcare environment.

You’ll bring

- Demonstrated experience leading and managing security staff in a complex healthcare environment.

- Strong knowledge of security operations, relevant legislation, policies and NSW Health requirements.

- Experience in incident management, risk assessment, audits and continuous improvement.

- The ability to analyse security incidents,



identify risks and implement practical strategies to improve service delivery.

- Working knowledge of CCTV, access control, duress and alarm systems.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Current NSW Security Licence Class 1A and Senior First Aid Certificate.

- Current Driver’s Licence and ability to travel as required.
