About the Role

As a Housekeeping Services Assistant, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace for older South Australians living in our aged care homes. Your attention to detail and care will directly impact the comfort and wellbeing of residents making their home feel truly like home.

You’ll work alongside hospitality, clinical, and personal care teams to deliver high standards of cleanliness using contemporary systems like iClean and Interclean. Whether you’re refreshing a resident’s room, tidying shared spaces, or ensuring infection control protocols are followed, your work will be valued and appreciated every day.

We currently have permanent part-time (PPT) and casual opportunities available across our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Start your day with a team briefing and connect with caring colleagues
- Clean and refresh resident rooms: vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and changing linens
- Maintain hygiene in bathrooms and communal areas using infection control protocols
- Use advanced cleaning systems to streamline your work and ensure compliance
- Monitor supplies and equipment, reporting any issues to your supervisor
- Respect residents’ privacy and preferences while creating a homely atmosphere

What You’ll Bring

- Full work rights in Australia (essential)
- DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
- Experience in aged care, hospitality, or health settings (desirable)
- Familiarity with iClean and Interclean systems (desirable)
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and infection control
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A respectful, team-oriented approach to your work
