IN-HOUSE CLEANER Permanent Position | Registered Club

Suit 2 person team

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team at a busy registered club.

This is an approximately 40-hour-per-week position, covering 7 days of club operations. The role would ideally suit a two-person cleaning team who can work together to ensure the club is consistently maintained to a high standard throughout the week.

The Position The successful applicant/s will be responsible for ensuring our club is presented in a clean, hygienic, safe and welcoming condition for our members, guests and staff.

Duties will include

- Cleaning and maintaining all designated areas of the club
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and amenities
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
- Cleaning tables, surfaces, glass, mirrors and other fixtures
- Emptying bins and managing rubbish appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in public and staff areas
- Responding promptly to spills and unexpected cleaning requirements
- Replenishing cleaning products and notifying management when supplies are required
- Following cleaning schedules and established procedures
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Adhering to workplace health and safety and hygiene requirements
- Working cooperatively with club management and staff

- Understands the importance of maintaining a professional environment in a busy registered club

Previous commercial, hospitality, hotel or club cleaning experience is highly regarded, but the right attitude and work ethic are equally important.

Hours & Employment

- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Work required across 7 days
- Rostered shifts
- 3-month trial period
- Following a successful trial, the position will become permanent
- The position would ideally suit a two-person cleaning team
