Thisopportunityisdesignedforelectricianswhocandemonstratereal-worldexperienceinelectricaldiagnostics,faultfindingandindustrialmaintenance.Youwillworkacrossarangeofindustrialsites,developingspecialistknowledgeofoverheadcranes,hoists,gantriesandassociatedcontrolsystems.

Trainingisprovidedforelectricianstransitioningfromotherindustrialsectors,makingthisastrongopportunitytobuildonexistingelectricalexpertisewhiledevelopingaspecialisedskillset.

The Prospect

Thisopportunityisdesignedforelectricianswhocandemonstratereal-worldexperienceinelectricaldiagnostics,faultfindingandindustrialmaintenance.Youwillworkacrossarangeofindustrialsites,developingspecialistknowledgeofoverheadcranes,hoists,gantriesandassociatedcontrolsystems.

Trainingisprovidedforelectricianstransitioningfromotherindustrialsectors,makingthisastrongopportunitytobuildonexistingelectricalexpertisewhiledevelopingaspecialisedskillset.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnoseandresolveelectricalfaultsacrossindustrialliftingequipment
- Carryoutplannedpreventativemaintenanceandroutineelectricalinspections
- Attendequipmentbreakdownsandcompleteurgentelectricalrepairs
- Serviceoverheadcranes,gantries,hoistsandrelatedindustrialsystems
- Testandcommissionelectricalandcontrolsystems
- TroubleshootPLCs,motors,contactors,VSDs,limitswitchesandcontrolcircuits




- Identifyrecurringfaultsandapplypracticaldiagnosticsolutions
- Maintainaccurateservicerecords,reportsandmaintenancedocumentation
- Workdirectlyatcustomerindustrialsiteswithahighleveloffieldautonomy
- Traveltoregionalandoccasionalinterstatelocationswhenrequired
- Participateintherotatingon-callroster
- Workapproximately50-55hoursperweekwhererequired,includingguaranteedovertime

Requirements & Eligibility

- CertIIIinElectrotechnologyorequivalentrecognisedqualification
- CurrentElectricalLicenceorProvisionalElectricalLicence
- Demonstratedexperienceinindustrialelectricalwork
- PracticalPLCfault-findinganddiagnosticexperience
- Strongunderstandingofindustrialelectricalsystemsandcontrols
- Abilitytoindependentlydiagnosefaultsandcompleterepairs
- Strongmechanicalawarenessandwillingnesstolearnspecialisedliftingequipmentsystems
- Abilitytoworksafelyacrossindustrialenvironments
- Willingnesstoundertakeregionaltravelasrequired
- Goodcommunication,reportingandcustomer-serviceskills
