At Eureka Villages, we're looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to help maintain our village while providing exceptional support to our residents.

What's the role?
Responsibilities
Every day is different. You'll be responsible for helping maintain the presentation, safety and day-to-day operation of the village while acting as a trusted point of contact for residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Grounds and garden maintenance
- Preparing and maintaining guest sites
- Rubbish collection and general park presentation
- Checking and maintaining amenities and communal areas
- Minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repairs
- Assisting guests with site connections and maintenance requests
- Conducting safety inspections and reporting larger maintenance issues
- Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance requirements
- Supporting the Village Manager with the smooth day-to-day operation of the community
The usual hours for this role are Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm . You'll also carry the park phone after hours two nights a week and be on call Friday and Saturday nights . This role does not require you to live onsite, though we can discuss options if that's your preference.

Is this role right for you?
We're looking for someone who is approachable, practical and takes pride in their work. You'll ideally have:
- Experience in caretaking, facilities, grounds maintenance, maintenance or a similar hands‑on role
- Basic maintenance and repair skills
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem‑solving ability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- A current driver's licence (preferred)
