Summary:

NRCLC has an exciting recent opportunity within our Legal and Tenancy Team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to help us provide clients with a welcoming entry point to NRCLC. You will provide information on a wide range of matters and refer clients to appropriate services or if appropriate to our Senior Intake Officer and/or Advocacy Team for further assistance. You will also contribute to continuously improving our ways of working as our service model evolves.

This role is based in Lismore on Bundjalung Country.

· Have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport.

· Communicate effectively with clients to sensitively identify legal matters, assess and address their needs and provide a positive experience.

· Thrive working as a team and collaborating to deal with challenges and solve problems.

· Be courageous and resilient.





· Understand the key challenges faced by vulnerable people and groups in accessing legal services.

· Be able to work autonomously under limited supervision and balance priorities.
