The role of the Calibration Technician is pivotal in the growth strategy of Trescal Australia.

The role of the Calibration Technician is to perform calibrations and repairs and ensure that the calibration tasks and repairs being performed by Trescal Australia are of a high standard and comply with NATA and other regulatory requirements in the laboratory and in the field in relation to Force, Torque, Electrical, Pressure, Optical, Transmission, RF, Dimensional and Temperature domains. Service budgets also need to be met.

Responsibilities:

- Perform calibrations, preventative maintenance and repairs as requested by the customer and instructed by the Laboratory Manager / Team Leader in multiple domains within the laboratory.
- Ensure all calibrations are performed as per documented Trescal calibration procedures.
- Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion with best possible TAT
- Ensure that reports are accurate and error free before they are submitted to Admin or signatories
- Ensure all issues with spreadsheets and or calibration equipment are brought to the attention of the Lab Manager or State Manager, as soon as possible.




- Participate to ensure that the nominated monthly invoiced work target is achieved.
- Be involved and responsible for resolving first line customer queries and complaints as required.
- Participate and encourage teamwork within the service area and company as a whole.
- Delivering service to company KPI’s and QA
- Maintenance and calibration of internal equipment
- Ensure Laptops and Phone provided are treated with care and maintained in good order. Any problems, loss or damage are to be brought to the attention of your Lab Manager or State Manager
- Ensure any personal accident occurring on site or in Trescal Labs is reported to your Lab Manager or State Manager and OHS Officer immediately.
- Participation in laboratory management meetings
- Any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the Laboratory Manager or State Manager

- Math’s & English (communication)
- Mechanical and computer aptitude (Excel etc.)
- Punctual
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
