In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by introducing players of all ages and abilities to the fundamentals of basketball in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. What You Will Be Doing

- Delivering engaging and age-appropriate basketball sessions for beginners of all skill levels
- Teaching fundamental basketball skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game rules
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Adapting coaching methods to suit the diverse needs and abilities of participants
- Planning and preparing structured lesson plans that are fun and educational
- Monitoring participant progress and providing constructive, supportive feedback
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times
- Communicating effectively with participants, parents, and guardians as needed

What We Are Looking For

- A genuine passion for basketball and sharing that passion with others




- Experience playing or coaching basketball at any level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to connect with and motivate people of all ages and backgrounds
- A patient, encouraging, and positive coaching style
- A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- A relevant coaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one
