We are seeking an experienced Learning Enhancement Teacher to join our Junior Years (Prep to Year 5) for a 12-month contract position, supporting the College’s continued commitment to strengthening inclusive education across the Junior Years.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about inclusive education and brings experience supporting students with disability and diverse learning needs. You will work collaboratively with students, classroom teachers, families and specialists to identify and remove barriers to learning, coordinate targeted support and intervention, and strengthen inclusive practice and teacher capability across the Junior Years.

Who we’re looking for

You are an experienced educator with a strong understanding of the developmental and learning needs of primary-aged students and practical experience supporting students with disability and diverse learning needs.

- Plan, implement and evaluate differentiated and modified curriculum, reasonable adjustments and evidence-informed interventions across individual, small-group and classroom settings.
- Develop, implement and review individual learning and support plans, using assessment data, diagnostic information and specialist recommendations to identify needs, inform intervention and monitor student progress.
- Work collaboratively within a case-management approach, partnering with classroom teachers, students, parents/carers, allied health professionals and other specialists to coordinate effective student support.




- Design and deliver evidence-informed interventions and inclusive learning experiences that enable students with diverse learning needs to access, participate and succeed in learning.
- Build authentic and respectful relationships that foster inclusion, belonging and wellbeing, ensuring students feel known, valued and supported to flourish.
- Apply a sound understanding of inclusive education obligations and processes, including reasonable adjustments, NCCD documentation and evidence collection, to support equitable access and participation.
- Actively support the Christian ethos and values of Trinity Lutheran College through your everyday interactions and professional practice.

Skills And Experiences

- Postgraduate qualifications, formal professional learning or other recognised study in inclusive education, special education, learning support, literacy/numeracy intervention or a related field.
- Experience in learning support and inclusive education, including individual and small group intervention.
- Experience with case management, including individual learning plans and working with parents, teachers and external specialists.
- Knowledge of NCCD requirements, reasonable adjustments and supporting documentation.
