Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer – Anaesthetist to join the Department of Anaesthesia in Newcastle on a casual basis.

The Visiting Medical Officer will work closely with the surgical multidisciplinary team, providing safe, efficient and high-quality anaesthetic care to patients at Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing specialist anaesthetic services to patients
- Working collaboratively with surgeons, medical staff, nursing and allied health professionals

About You The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate

- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Demonstrated capacity for efficient and effective patient management
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across medicine, nursing and allied health
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
