About the role
We have an opportunity for a Manager to be part of our Cyber Security team within the Technology and Communication Services Command. The role provides strategic leadership and guidance to the organisation to ensure that it is effectively safeguarded against technology and cyber security threats by overseeing identification, cyber risks and associated technology risks, their analysis and assessment across the NSWPF.

Working directly with the CISO, you'll influence enterprise-wide cyber strategy, strengthen organisational resilience, lead governance and assurance initiatives, and help protect the systems and information that support frontline policing and community safety across NSW. Lead the cyber security risk, assurance and governance function for an organisation that supports more than 20,000 employees and delivers critical services to the people of New South Wales.
Strategic Leadership with Enterprise-Wide Impact
Influence executive decision-making and drive the cyber security agenda across a complex operational environment where technology resilience directly supports frontline policing and public safety.
Build and Mature Cyber Governance
Take ownership of the frameworks, policies and assurance activities that underpin cyber security compliance, resilience and risk management across the NSW Police Force.
Work at the Forefront of Emerging Cyber Risks
Address rapidly evolving cyber threats, emerging technologies and complex regulatory requirements while balancing security, operational effectiveness and innovation.
Direct Access to Senior Leadership
Partner closely with the Chief Information Security Officer and senior stakeholders to shape organisation-wide cyber security strategy, risk appetite and investment priorities.
Lead a High-Performing Specialist Team
Develop and mentor a growing cyber security team focused on cyber risk, resilience, policy, governance and assurance.
