You understand how commercial projects are priced, but getting the prospect to move beyond estimating has proven difficult. This role gives you that opening. Or maybe you're working in a hybrid role for a smaller builder accross multiple functions and are looking for a door into a bigger builder.

This could be it.

Working as the right-hand person to an experienced construction director, you will use your estimating background while developing experience across the full project cycle. That includes the early development phase, pre-construction, approvals, project coordination and the delivery side of construction.

The position has been created due to a large volume of live and upcoming projects. It has been a very successful couple of years for this builder, and it won't be slowing down.

You will work across several projects in Sandringham, Southbank and Geelong rather than being assigned to one job. Your involvement will include estimating, pricing, RFIs, consultant coordination,



council liaison, quotes and minor works, before supporting projects as they move through construction.

The business is an established commercial builder delivering new builds, fit-outs and developments. The structure is flexible, the directors remain closely involved, and this position has been designed around developing someone who has the right construction knowledge and the right attitude.

Salary is up to $150k, including super, for the right person.

You may have completed a Diploma of Project Management or developed your knowledge through practical industry experience rather than a construction management degree.
