Expression of Interest opportunity: Cabinet Liaison Officer (Clerk Grade 11/12)
Executive and Ministerial Services is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Cabinet Liaison Officer (11/12) within the Parliament and Cabinet team for a 6‑week opportunity for the period 28 September – 6 November 2026. The role is open to Grade 11/12 employees looking to broaden their experience or high performing 9/10 candidates seeking a career development opportunity.
About the role
The Cabinet Liaison Officer is responsible for managing NSW Health’s Cabinet submission program, providing advice on Cabinet and Cabinet sub‑committee submissions to prepare our Ministers for meetings, and facilitating Health providing feedback on sector‑wide Cabinet and Cabinet sub‑committee submissions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in learning about the Cabinet process in NSW, including how NSW Health engages with other agencies and advises our Ministers ahead of a Cabinet/Committee meeting.
