Mechanical Fitter – Nelson Point | $75/hr

$75 per hour | 8:6 Roster | FIFO | BHP Inducted | ASAP Start

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client at Nelson Point.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Mechanical Fitters looking for ongoing FIFO work on an 8:6 roster, with an ASAP start available.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced site maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and servicing across site equipment and machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carrying out planned and preventative mechanical maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding and mechanical diagnostics
- Inspection, servicing and maintenance of site equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team
- Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures and standards

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Previous mining or heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Current BHP induction
- Relevant tickets and site competencies
- Previous FIFO experience will be highly regarded
