HUSKI CORPORATION PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our automotive workshop in Condell Park, NSW.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable motor mechanic with strong technical knowledge, diagnostic capabilities and practical experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining motor vehicles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles and vehicle components.
- Use computerised diagnostic equipment and specialised testing equipment to identify faults.
- Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, suspension systems, braking systems and other vehicle components for inspection and repair.
- Repair, replace and adjust defective, worn or damaged mechanical components.
- Reassemble engines, transmissions and other mechanical components after repairs.
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect engines and mechanical components to determine the extent of repairs required.
- Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems.
- Test and adjust repaired components and systems to ensure correct operation and performance.
- Carry out vehicle inspections and road tests where required.
- Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, parts used and other workshop activities.
- Identify additional mechanical issues and provide recommendations regarding required repairs and maintenance.
- Follow manufacturer specifications,



workplace procedures and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

- Diploma of Automotive Management or an equivalent relevant automotive qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of full-time relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic .
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing a broad range of motor vehicle mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering and suspension systems.
- Experience using computerised diagnostic equipment and specialised workshop tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Australian driver's licence preferred.
