About ILPRIMO

ILPRIMO is our specialist value-add and Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) facility. By transforming fresh produce into high-quality frozen and value-added products, the operation helps maximise crop utilisation, reduce food waste and create greater value from what we grow.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of the ILPRIMO facility. This is a hands-on site leadership role with accountability for safe and efficient production, people leadership, quality, cost control and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Farming, Supply Chain, Commercial and support teams, you will build a capable and accountable workforce while driving reliable, commercially sustainable outcomes across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead production and operational activities across the ILPRIMO facility.

- Build and develop a capable, engaged and safety-focused workforce.

- Drive site performance through effective planning, labour and resource management.

- Improve efficiency, yield, product recovery and waste reduction outcomes.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, WHS and regulatory requirements.

- Manage operational costs, inventory and equipment reliability.





- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver production and customer requirements.

- Champion practical continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

You are a practical and visible operational leader who enjoys building teams, solving problems and improving performance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will ideally bring

- Proven operations leadership experience within food processing, manufacturing, FMCG, fresh produce, cold storage or a similar environment.

- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop and hold teams accountable.

- Experience improving productivity, labour utilisation, quality and operational performance.

- A robust commitment to WHS, food safety and maintaining high operational standards.

- Commercial awareness and confidence using performance data to guide decisions.

- A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across functions.
