RPS is looking for an experienced consulting professional to join us as Practice Leader –
- Place &
- Development, based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who wants to take genuine ownership of a consulting business – leading its people, developing client relationships, growing the pipeline and helping shape its future direction.

We are particularly interested in speaking with senior professionals currently based in Brisbane or Sydney who would consider relocating to the Sunshine Coast for the right career opportunity and lifestyle.

About The Role

As Practice Leader, you will lead our Place &

- Development business on the Sunshine Coast, bringing together people, clients, projects and commercial performance.

While professional credibility is significant, this is not primarily a technical leadership position. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading people and developing a business, and who can create an environment where talented professionals and emerging leaders can thrive.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Leading and developing our Sunshine Coast Place &
- Development team
- Providing direction, support and mentorship to senior and emerging professionals
- Managing team performance, workloads, resourcing and capability
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Identifying current opportunities and developing existing client accounts

About You There isn't one particular career path that leads to this opportunity. You may be an Associate Director, Principal or Senior Principal ready to take the next step into broader business leadership. Alternatively, you may already be leading a practice, studio or discipline and be looking for an chance where you can have greater influence over people, clients and commercial direction.





We are open to professionals from across the Place &

- Development environment, with backgrounds in Landscape Architecture or Town Planning.

Ideally, You Will Bring

- Significant experience within consulting or skilled services
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing professional teams
- Strong client relationship management capability
- Commercial awareness and experience managing the performance of projects and/or consulting teams

Experience and relationships within the South East Queensland development market would be advantageous, but they are not essential. If you have built successful client relationships and consulting businesses elsewhere, we are equally interested in your ability to bring that experience to the Sunshine Coast.
