Position Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Procurement Consultant to join our Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional seeking exposure to a diverse range of clients, projects and industries within a consulting environment.

As a Procurement Consultant, you will work with clients and internal project teams to deliver procurement, sourcing, commercial and contract management services across the procurement lifecycle.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the delivery of end-to-end procurement and contract management projects for government and private sector clients.
- Developing procurement strategies, procurement plans and market approach documentation.
- Conducting market research, supplier analysis, spend analysis and business needs assessments.
- Preparing tender and sourcing documentation, including Expressions of Interest, Requests for Tender and Requests for Proposal.
- Assisting with tender evaluation processes, supplier negotiations and procurement recommendations.
- Supporting contract establishment, contract administration and contract performance management activities.
- Preparing procurement reports,



business cases, briefing papers and client deliverables.
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement activities, workshops and project meetings.
- Providing procurement advice while ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Maintaining project documentation and delivering work within agreed timelines and quality standards.

You will be working closely with Senior Consultants, Managers and Principal Consultants, contributing to the successful delivery of procurement and commercial advisory projects across multiple client organisations.

Skills and Experience Required To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Law, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant procurement, sourcing, commercial or contract management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies and contract management practices.
- Experience supporting procurement activities, tender processes and supplier engagement.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to build productive relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Membership of, or progress towards membership of, a recognised procurement professional body will be highly regarded.
