About the role:

The purpose of the Product Owner is to become the bridge between our sales staff and sales systems. You'll be their voice - shaping what gets built, why it matters, and making sure the final product genuinely delivers. Working within a small, agile team, this role is hands-on by design: you'll dive into the business's day-to-day workflows to truly understand their needs, then carry that understanding into UAT, testing not just for functionality but for fit. This is a 12-month contract position.

What does your day to day look like?

- Work with business teams to build an authoritative understanding of how sales staff work and what they need from Sales Systems
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, translating business needs into explicit requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Act as an informed tester during UAT - validating that delivered features work correctly and genuinely meet the business need before release, drawing on your direct knowledge of the workflows.
- Provide structured feedback to the development team, surfacing gaps between the platform and the business need.
- Shape and sequence the roadmap including features such as digital integration and post-campaign automation against business value and the usability issues surfaced during rollout.
Engage sales staff continuously to gather feedback and validate direction.

- What you’ll need:

- Exposure to media sales environments, or a strong working understanding of media sales workflows.
- Clear,



confident communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate business needs into prioritised requirements and make sound trade-off decisions.
- A detail-oriented, questioning mindset, with the diligence to test thoroughly and validate against real needs.
- Comfortable working hands-on with a development team through delivery and UAT.
- Prior product owner, business analysis, QA, or testing experience. (Desirable)
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and backlog tools such as Jira. (Desirable)
Experience supporting a platform or SaaS rollout. (Desirable)
