- Manage and monitor the delivery of the project to ensure program, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, and prompt corrective actions where required.
- Interpret and develop Quality, Work Health & Safety and Environmental management plans and assist with compliance on a project basis.
- Manage resources in accordance with a construction program and daily activities
- Deliver quality assurance as per contractual requirements
- Ensure onsite testing and relevant project documentation is collated and stored correctly.
- Demonstrate qualified communication and client relations skills
- Interpret project drawings and provide technical recommendations to the project team.
- Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 3+ years' experience in Civil Construction
- Experience in the delivery of Water & Wastewater and/or Road Construction Projects (DTMR)
- Relevant technical knowledge, including local and state specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and solutions driven approach
- Relocation to, or currently reside in Cairns, Far North Queensland
