About the Role
We are currently expanding and seeking two (2) reliable and motivated professionals who wants to advance their career with a reputable law firm and be part of a great vibrant team for a long time.
Role 1: Property Solicitor or Experienced Conveyancer
We are looking for a practitioner with a minimum of 2 years' experience (or a highly experienced Graduate/Conveyancer) to manage a diverse property portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end residential and commercial property transactions, including PEXA settlements
- Handling Property & Estates matters
- Advising on Commercial Real Estate matters, such as retail and commercial leases, acquisitions, and property development projects
- Providing practical advice and maintaining highly responsive communication with clients
Role 2: Commercial Solicitor
We are seeking a driven Commercial Solicitor (minimum 2 PQE) to handle a mix of commercial advisory and litigation work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored legal advice and personalised client service to individuals and corporate entities
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts for individual and corporate clients
- Handling litigation matters, including drafting initial letter of demand and preparing comprehensive case files to providing robust court/tribunal representation
- Advising on and executing debt recovery and payment dispute strategies under the Security of Payment Act framework, including drafting payment claims, payment schedules and adjudication applications
- Supporting team members and providing guidance/mentoring to junior staff
About you (both roles):
- must have current NSW legal practising certificate (for Solicitor applicants) or relevant qualifications/licensing (for Conveyancer applicants)
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience in property or commercial law
- have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- provide superior, responsive and personalised service to clients
- must have a can-do attitude and open to current challenges
- must have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
- are fluent in Chinese/Mandarin (highly desirable)
