The Role An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Homelessness Health Outreach Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide an efficient and responsive psychological service to the Homelessness Health Outreach Team in accordance with professional practice and ethical standards
Identify and undertake comprehensive assessment of the complex psychosocial needs of mental health consumers
Apply differential assessment methods to identify clinical risk appropriate to the client group
Manage a highly complex caseload with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision and ability to exercise independent professional judgement
About you To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree in Psychology
AHPRA Registration
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent full time
Base salary ranging from $128,169 - $137,918 per annum
About Us The Homelessness Health Outreach Team provides services to people who are chronically homeless with complex needs and diverse value systems, and do not access standard health services. While there is a strong focus on mental health and drug and alcohol issues, general health issues will be within the scope of this team. This team will work very closely with the non-government services and other local and state government services that are involved in providing services to this clientele.

Team is a seven day per week extended hours service.
