THE ROLE

As our Purchasing Assistant , you’ll provide day-to-day support to the Purchasing team across procurement, stock management and product administration.

Working closely with our Purchasing and Stores teams , you’ll help ensure purchase orders, stock movements and product information are accurately maintained and processed in a timely manner.

You will

- Assist with the preparation and processing of purchase orders , including supporting stores with their order requirements
- Coordinate internal stock transfers between stores and locations, ensuring stock movements are accurately recorded and communicated
- Assist with stock control , including monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies and processing stock adjustments as required
- Monitor and maintain stock levels associated with promotional activity , helping ensure adequate stock availability and accurate inventory during promotions
- Assist with the onboarding of new products into the system, ensuring product information, pricing and relevant details are entered accurately




- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
- Assist with resolving stock and order discrepancies
- Liaise with internal teams, stores and relevant suppliers to support smooth purchasing and stock management processes
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Purchasing team
Assist with ad-hoc purchasing and inventory tasks as required

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive , with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

You’ll ideally have

- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, inventory or administration role is desirable
- Experience using Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Shopify and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with orders, stock and system data
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stores, Purchasing and other internal teams
- Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
