We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. This role will support key defence programs by managing purchasing activities and building strong supplier relationships.

You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient procurement processes by:

- Researching, sourcing and evaluating suppliers to support project requirements.
- Preparing, updating,



and tracking purchase orders using ERP systems.
- Liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and managing supplier documentation.
- Maintaining accurate procurement data and supporting supply chain activities.
- Building productive supplier relationships to meet quality, price and delivery goals

What you’ll bring:
- Strong purchasing experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (desirable).
- Previous experience in the Defence Industry (desirable).

Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
