ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a short-term opportunity to build genuine supporter relationships that create lasting global impact for human rights. As part of our Gifts in Wills team, you’ll support the stewardship of our supporters, helping grow our planned giving program.

- 2 days per week part-time, fixed-term position for 3 months (until end of 2026)
- Location is flexible, with hybrid work available
- The hourly rate is $48.23 + super, plus not-for-profit access to salary packaging
- We will review applications as they are submitted and the job ad will close once the position is filled.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION​

As the Relationship Coordinator, you support the delivery of the organisation’s bequest program over a focused three-month engagement, working closely with the Gifts in Wills Specialist and the Gifts in Wills Coordinator. You are a contact point for a key supporter group — people who have decided to leave a gift in their will, or are considering doing so, to Amnesty. Your primary focus is generating new bequest leads and maintaining timely, personal contact with prospective and existing bequestors.​

KEY DUTIES

- Coordinate and provide timely and personal follow-up to bequest enquiries and leads, by phone, mail and email, adapting approach based on supporter circumstances and preferences​
- Event support in collaboration with the Gift in Wills Coordinator as needed​
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records in CRM​
- Support the delivery of other Gifts in Wills campaigns such as direct mail, digital and telemarketing campaigns​
- Work with the Supporter Care Team to ensure all Bequest enquiries are responded to efficiently and personally​
- Report on progress against target​
- Other tasks within your skills and competence as required.​

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE

- Marketing,



fundraising or other relevant higher education and qualifications​
- Experience in telemarketing and/or direct marketing​
- Experience in working in a non-profit organisation​
- Familiarity with human rights issues​
- Experience supporting a Gifts in Wills program (or similar), with success in supporter cultivation and lead generation​
- Demonstrates evidence-based decision making​
