Who is NLR?

NLR is a family-owned Australian business with more than 20 years of experience in the restoration industry. We help homes, businesses and communities recover following water damage, floods, fire and smoke damage, mould, sewage contamination and other property emergencies.

You don’t need to know restoration on Day One.

We’ll teach you.

You’ll work alongside experienced restoration professionals and receive practical, on-the-job training. As your knowledge and capabilities develop, there are opportunities to undertake further industry training and build recognised skills within the restoration industry.

What will you be doing?

Your work will vary from day to day and may include attending water-damaged properties, extracting water, setting up specialist drying equipment, assisting with fire and smoke restoration, mould remediation, contents restoration, equipment movement and helping customers during what can be a very stressful time in their lives.

You’ll be working both independently and alongside other NLR team members across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

You don’t need industry experience, but you do need:

- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- A current driver’s licence
- A white card
- Good communication and people skills
- The ability to undertake physical, hands-on work
- Pride in your personal presentation and your work
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to follow instructions and established processes
- A team-first attitude




- Flexibility when emergency restoration work requires it
