- SAP IS-U FI-CA experience within Utilities is mandatory

We’re looking for an experienced SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Consultant to join a major technology transformation in Melbourne.

Please note: Hands-on SAP IS-U FI-CA experience within a Utilities environment is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates with general SAP Finance/FICO experience but without specific SAP IS-U FI-CA experience will not be considered.

This is a senior functional role focused on the customer financial side of SAP IS-U, covering Contract Accounts, billing integration, payments, dunning, collections, debt management and customer account processes.

The roleYou will be responsible for:

- Leading Fit-Gap analysis and functional workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
- Designing and configuring SAP IS-U FI-CA solutions aligned with business requirements and SAP best practice.
- Working across Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable processes.
- Providing guidance on solution design, process standardisation and functional improvements.
- Translating business requirements into Functional Design and Solution Design documentation.
- Supporting configuration, testing, defect analysis and resolution.
- Working across integrated SAP IS-U processes including Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, CRM and S/4HANA Finance.
- Collaborating with business, functional and technical teams across complex transformation environments.
- Supporting end-to-end scenarios across billing, payments, collections, dunning and customer account management.

Mandatory experienceTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

- Strong hands-on SAP IS-U FI-CA experience.
- SAP IS-U FI-CA / Contract Accounts experience specifically within a Utilities environment.
- Experience across at least two end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations or transformation programs.
- Hands-on FI-CA configuration experience.




- Strong understanding of Utilities customer financial processes.
- Experience running Fit-Gap analysis and functional workshops.
- Experience translating business requirements into SAP IS-U FI-CA solutions and process flows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

General SAP FICO, SAP Finance or Accounts Receivable experience without hands-on SAP IS-U FI-CA experience will not meet the requirements for this role.

- Instalment plans and promise-to-pay processes.
- Security deposits and interest calculations.
- Budget billing and payment plans.
- Creditworthiness and risk management.
- Bank statement and lockbox processing.
- Customer balances, disputes and adjustments.
- Move-In, Move-Out and Transfer processes.
- Integration with external collection agencies.
