Federal Court of Australia

Australian Capital Territory

The Federal Court of Australia Entity invites expressions of interest from eligible ongoing APS employees employed outside the agency for potential transfer opportunities. Opportunities may arise across the Federal Court of Australia (FCA), the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA), and the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT), either on an ongoing basis (at level) or on a temporary basis (non-ongoing, at level, or through higher duties arrangements), spanning a range of classifications, roles, and business areas.

You may register your interest in opportunities aligned with your skills, qualifications and experience across classifications ranging from APS 2 to Executive Level 2 (EL2). The register provides the agency with access to suitably qualified APS employees for transfer opportunities that may arise across a diverse range of business areas and classifications.

Applicants are encouraged to express their interest in potential ongoing (at level) and temporary (non-ongoing, at level or with higher duties) transfer opportunities under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999

How the Register Works

Your application will remain active until 31 December 2026. Applications will not be automatically carried forward beyond this date. If you wish to remain on the register after 31 December 2026, you will need to submit a new application to the FCA Section 26 Register 2027.

You may update or withdraw your application at any time.

As opportunities arise throughout the year, applications may be considered by relevant business areas to determine whether an applicant's skills,

qualifications and experience align with available vacancies. Inclusion on the register does not guarantee an offer of employment. Applicants seeking ongoing (permanent) transfer opportunities are encouraged to also apply for vacancies advertised through the APS Gazette and APSJobs.

You will only be contacted if a suitable chance becomes available that matches your skills, experience and preferences.
