We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Senior or Associate level consultant who is eager to make a positive impact on the environment in Queensland. Role

You would be working within a small but team-oriented team in ADE’s QLD Environment Department, helping to lead our young and enthusiastic team members. Some of the elements of this role include the following:

- Directing, reviewing and delivering high-quality proposal and tenders, reports including Preliminary Site Investigation and Detailed Site Investigations.
- Helping solve complex soil and groundwater issues for emerging and ‘traditional’ contaminants, including at large and complex sites, sometimes interstate.
- Leading client liaison and management to support business development for existing and new clients, attending business development meetings and events.
- Managing personal and team member health and safety, quality and environment whether in the field, office or when travelling.
- Training and mentoring more junior team members in key project delivery, commercial management and client care aspects.
- Flexible work pattern within a friendly, diverse team and the opportunity to work on projects for clients and sites across Australia.
- Contributing to the growth of a young business, which is positioned to be an industry leader in the emerging contaminants space.

About The Team





ADE Consulting Group is a high calibre group of independent environmental consultants, occupational hygienists, and geotechnical engineers. With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle, ADE provides a wide range of services including contaminated land assessments and site remediation, waste classifications, resource recovery and circular economy, geotechnical investigations, air and water quality assessments, asbestos and hazardous material inspections, laboratory services, occupational health and safety services and project management.

ADE is not constrained by the bureaucracy of larger consultancy firms.

Attributes

Skills The successful candidate will need to possess certain skills and a suitable mindset to meet the demands of this role and excel within it:

- Adventurous approach, somebody prepared to work outside of their comfort zone, brainstorming and innovating to find and develop bespoke strategies and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply QLD regulatory requirements while effectively translating environmental science principles into commercial solutions.
- Ambitious and energetic person who would enjoy the excitement and enjoyment of working outside of the usual scope of environmental consultancy, on challenging but fun projects.
- Tertiary education qualification in environmental science, chemistry, geochemistry, geology or similar.
- At least 7-10 years’ relevant industry experience with a solid foundation in contaminated land assessment, waste management, resource recovery or other transferable expertise.
- Current Australian driver's license.
