In this role, you'll:
Work within the Finance, Technology & Commercial Division,under the Commercial & Energy Management Branch. You'll define and drive the long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS), a globally recognised traffic management platform used to improve the movement of people and goods.
You'll work closely with customers, Product Owners and stakeholders to understand user needs, prioritise future capabilities and shape investment decisions that balance customer outcomes, commercial priorities and market opportunities.
This is a role at the intersection of technology, innovation and transport. You'll need to be comfortable working in a fast-changing environment, influencing stakeholders and making strategic decisions that support the evolution of a product competing in the global traffic technology market.
Ultimately, you'll play a key role in transforming SCATS into a more customer and market-led product, ensuring it continues to deliver value for customers both in Australia and around the world.
This is a permanent role based at Central in the city, 3 days a week with Wednesday as your core office day. this is with adaptable hybrid work options available to promote balance and productivity.

About you
You will bring
- Experience developing product strategy, vision and roadmaps for complex software products.
- Experience working within complex organisations that develop and deliver software products.
- Experience managing product P&L; and balancing commercial, customer and business outcomes.
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to translate user needs and market insights into product decisions.
- Proven experience managing products through their full lifecycle, from concept to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse groups around a shared product vision.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
