THE ROLE

The purpose of this position is to provide program support functions for Complex Needs and Forensic Disability programs funded and delivered by the Department, by undertaking a range of tasks associated with quality assurance, program compliance and systemic improvement in relation to people with complex needs and forensic disability. This is achieved through analysis of issues and preparation of practice guidance and advice.



The role is also responsible for liaison with external bodies and ensuring information requested is responded to in a timely manner.

The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Develop operational advice and program initiatives that meet the department's strategic directions for managing and delivering high quality services.
- Form a robust understanding of complex needs and forensic disability programs and establish strong bonds with funded providers and operational staff within the department.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including policy teams, service providers, and community organisations to facilitate effective program implementation and ongoing improvement based on stakeholder feedback.
