About the role

In this role you will provide primary 'right-hand' support to a busy Managing Partner and be responsible for day-to-day support on high-level firm operations, as well as assisting on general commercial and property law matters. You'll enjoy variety, the advantages of working in a 'single focus' role for one fee earner, and the opportunity to take on some paralegal duties.

Duties

- draft legal documents and correspondence across property and general commercial matters
- prepare leases (including commercial, retail and industrial leases) and associated disclosure documentation
- manage files
- liaise with internal and external stakeholders (phone, email and face-to-face)
- conduct legal research
- prepare bills




- organise department meetings, agendas & taking minutes

Skills & experience

- solid experience as a Commercial and/or Property Legal Assistant
- strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- a proactive & hands‑on approach
- excellent communication skills(written and verbal)
- high motivation with a positive attitude
- fast and accurate typing skills
- advanced MS Office skills
- proficiency with PEXA, ASIC, InfoTrack and drafting lease agreements highly regarded (but not essential)
