This is a permanent part-time (0.63FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026

Moora Primary School (PS) is seeking a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly team. This role is perfect for an early bird who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Moora is located around 1.5 to 2 hours north of Perth. The town is well-equipped with essential services including supermarkets, cafes, a hospital, childcare, and a senior high school, and is just an hour from the beaches of Lancelin and Jurien Bay.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, including classrooms, administration areas, toilets and shared facilities. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, rubbish removal and other general cleaning tasks.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Has a strong attention to detail.
- Takes pride in their work.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.




- Is committed to providing a clean and safe learning setting for children.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Eligibility

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
