Given our continual growth our Brisbane operation based at Wakerley has a requirement for a Safety Advisor/Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Be the driving force behind the safety culture, leading by example and instilling safe practices in all team members
n
- Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions to ensure a safe work enviroment
n
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions to team members
n
- Investigate and report incidents promptly, analysing root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence
n
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirments
n
- Conduct safety audits and assessments, working closely with Project Managers to address any safety related issues
n
- Support site management in project delivery requirements
n
- Inductions and onboarding of new staff/subcontractors
n

To be successful
n
n
- Industry experience Electrical/Civil industries preffered
n
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor
n
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite
n
- The ability to maintain accurate documentation
n
- Proficiency in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective safety measures
n
- Team player being able to engage with internal staff, management, suppliers and clients
