About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer to take a visible client focused role in our Sydney studio, shaping high-quality electrical design, leading project delivery and developing future engineering talent within Building Service Engineering.
Working with Associates, Associate Directors and Directors, you will guide design teams, lead multidisciplinary projects and build capability through mentoring, technical direction and collaborative leadership.
You will work across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design documentation to coordination, site visits and commissioning support, with tailored learning and clear progression support. Working in a collaborative, sociable studio that values connection, knowledge sharing and a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Requirements
- Lead the engineering design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical expertise, design review and quality assurance across project teams.
- Coordinate with architects, clients, authorities,
contractors and multidisciplinary consultants.
- Support innovation and the adoption of sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.
Project Management
- Manage the delivery of projects to programme, budget and quality standards.
- Lead small to medium projects and act as discipline lead on larger projects.
- Monitor project performance, utilisation, fees and resource requirements.
Team, Mentoring and Development
- Mentor, coach and support graduate, project and developing engineers.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, technical direction and constructive feedback to team members.
- Coordinate engineering team inputs to support effective project delivery.
- Promote a culture of collaboration across disciplines, accountability and continuous improvement.
Business Development
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and business development activities.
- Contribute to securing repeat work and identifying recent opportunities.

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A relevant engineering degree in electrical engineering, building services engineering or similar.
- Chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
- Registered as a NSW Engineer, Building practitioner or working towards obtaining.
- Strong building services consultancy experience.
- Experience with Revit, PowerCAD, LV high voltage
- Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop graduate and project engineers.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to technical excellence.
