We are seeking an experienced Service Foreman to join our team at our Yandina Branch.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a qualified diesel technician or workshop leader who enjoys leading people, solving complex technical issues, and driving high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the workshop, supporting technicians and apprentices to deliver efficient, high-quality repairs and servicing of construction and agricultural machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

– Leading and supporting technicians, apprentices, and machine assemblers

– Coordinating daily workflow, job allocation, and priorities

– Providing advanced technical and diagnostic support

– Ensuring high standards of quality control, safety, and compliance

– Liaising with Service Advisors and customers on job progress and technical matters

– Promoting a positive, professional, and safety-focused workshop culture

– This is a hands-on leadership role,



combining strong technical capability with people leadership and operational accountability.

About You

This role will suit someone who:

– Is currently a senior diesel technician, leading hand, or workshop supervisor

– Has strong experience with construction and/or agricultural machinery (Kubota experience highly regarded)

– Enjoys mentoring others and setting clear expectations

– Takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and customer outcomes

– Is ready to step into or further develop a formal leadership role

Qualifications & Experience

– Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent (Essential – required to meet Kubota 5 Star obligations)

– HR and LF licences (preferred)

– Previous experience in a workshop leadership or supervisory role

– Intermediate computer skills (dealer management/service systems and Microsoft Office)
