About the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis in our Sydney Office! In your day to day, you will:

- Research, analyse and evaluate business requirements and technical specifications for software development.
- Design, develop and implement high-quality software applications, modules, and system integrations.
- Test, debug, and refine software to ensure it meets functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying upgrades.
- Write and maintain technical documentation including specifications, test procedures, and user guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project managers, business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders) to deliver projects on time.
- Apply software engineering best practices such as version control, code reviews, and design patterns.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve development processes and business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical advice,



mentorship, and support to colleagues where required.

About you

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (required).

Experience

Minimum 1 years of professional experience in software engineering (preferred).

Technical Skills

- Solid proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with frameworks, APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
