Solicitor – General Practice

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per annum, depending on experience

Oliveri Lawyers is a boutique general practice with 30 years of civil and criminal law experience. We are seeking a motivated solicitor with 1–2 years of post-admission experience to join our team in Darlinghurst.

Our firm believes that every matter requires a tailored approach. We take the time to understand each client’s circumstances and provide clear, strategic and practical legal advice.

The role The successful applicant will work across a diverse range of matters, including:

- Commercial law;
- Wills and estates;
- Criminal law;
- Conveyancing and property transactions;
- Medical negligence;
- Personal injury; and
- Family law.

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing files;
- Drafting legal correspondence, advice and court documents;
- Conducting legal research;
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and other parties;
- Attending court and assisting with hearings;
- Participating in negotiations and dispute resolution; and
- Supporting the firm’s broader general practice.

About you The ideal candidate will have:

- Admission as an Australian legal practitioner and a current NSW practising certificate;




- Approximately 1–2 years of relevant legal experience;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Sound legal research, drafting and analytical abilities;
- Excellent attention to detail and file-management skills;
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
- A professional, practical and client-focused approach; and
- An interest in developing experience across multiple areas of law.
