The dining experience of our residents is a significant part of the Inspirit model of care. You will report to the Head Chef and have experience within a commercial kitchen, preferably in aged care. This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a beautiful new home and be part of the new set up.

The key focus areas of the role are Preparation of fresh and nutritious meals for residents in line with their dietary needs and wants Tailor meals for dietary requirements, allergies and personal preferences





Prepare texture-modified diets and supplements that remain tasty and appealing

Collaborate with the Concierge for special events and Clinical Managers to keep dietary records updated

Maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with the aged care quality standards

Working collaboratively with team members to ensure the effective running of the household, focusing on resident needs and preferences To be successful in this role you’ll need A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly

Robust customer-centric approach and relationship building skills Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or similar Ability to build relationships with older people Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is preferred What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate
