About the Role

If variety is important to you, this role provides the opportunity to work across a broad range of presentations while still having the freedom to develop your own clinical niche.

The practice receives consistently strong referrals through private GPs, private clients, NDIS, WorkCover and other established networks. Rather than simply allocating you whatever comes through the door, the team will work with you to understand the populations, presentations and areas of psychology you are most interested in.

You may choose to maintain a broad and varied caseload or gradually build greater expertise within particular areas. As your interests evolve, there is flexibility for your caseload to evolve with you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention
• Managing a varied caseload aligned with your interests and experience
• Developing individualised treatment plans and delivering high-quality psychological care
• Completing clinical formulation and treatment planning
• Building relationships with referring doctors and allied health professionals
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and client records
• Collaborating with psychologists and other clinicians within the multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining high ethical, professional and clinical standards

About You

This opportunity would suit a Clinical Psychologist who enjoys variety, values clinical autonomy and wants to work somewhere that supports their individual interests rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to caseloads.

To be considered, you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
• General registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention
• Robust clinical formulation, treatment planning and therapeutic skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to high-quality, client-centred psychological care
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
