Senior Occupational Therapist | Subcontractor | Brisbane & Surrounds

Phase One Therapy is a Brisbane-based private OT practice built on The Phase One Method — Align, Assess, Analyse, Articulate. We work directly with clients and referrers, without the layers of a big corporate provider slowing things down.

We're expanding our team of subcontracted OTs and looking for an experienced adult OT ready for genuine independence, backed by excellent admin support. Work your own days, at your own pace, there's no pressure to bill hours, and every report goes through QA before it goes out.

The Role: As an independent contractor, you'll manage your own caseload across:

• Capacity building supports under NDIS

• Assistive technology (AT) assessment, prescription and funding requests (AT scripting)

• NDIS functional capacity assessments and report writing

• Aged care clients, including home and community-based supports

• Private clients, including self-funded and insurance-funded work

Based in Brisbane and surrounds, with a bookable office at Carina available on Tuesdays if you'd like a base for appointments.

Pay: 60–70% of billable hourly rate, based on experience.

About You





• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, current AHPRA registration

• Solid experience in adult OT, particularly capacity building, report writing and AT scripting

• Strong, independent report-writing skills — you can turn a clinical picture into a clear, funding-ready document with minimal oversight

• Solid working knowledge of NDIS pricing arrangements and AT approval pathways

• Comfortable managing your own diary, travel and caseload as a subcontractor

• Own vehicle and valid driver's licence

• Own ABN and required insurances
