Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Tax and Business Services team in the Perth CBD.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Managers and Directors, you will be part of a supportive team of senior and intermediate accountants focused on delivering a high standard of service to both new and long-standing clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparation and review of financial statements and complex tax returns
- Taxation and compliance for SMEs, trusts and partnerships
- FBT preparation and advice
- Providing taxation and business services advice to clients
- Managing and developing relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
- Mentoring and assisting junior and intermediate accountants
- Liaising directly with clients and senior management
- SMSF work where applicable

The practice uses a range of contemporary accounting and compliance software, including APS, CAS 360, SF 360 and Microsoft 365.





About You

To be considered for this prospect, you will ideally have:

- CA or CPA qualification
- A minimum of 4 years' accounting experience within Australian public practice
- Strong Australian taxation and business services experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to communicate directly with clients
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency with full Australian working rights
