About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Factory Worker / Trade Assistant to assist machine operators and boilermakers in a hands-on steel processing setting, performing measuring, cutting, forklift operation, and general production support.

What’s on Offer

- $32 per hour + shift loading + penalty rates for overtime
- Permanent after 500 hours (3–4 months)
- Full-time 40-hour weeks | Monday to Friday
- Immediate start available

Key Duties

- Assist machine operators
- Perform basic measuring and cutting of steel materials
- Load and unload plates.
- Check, clean, mark, and package processed materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Ensure scrap metal is properly sized for bins.

What We’re Looking For

- Some experience in sheet metal, steel, or heavy manufacturing




- Ability to perform basic measuring and cutting
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Own PPE and reliable transport
- Strong safety focus and reliability
