Want to broaden your Occupational Therapy experience without jumping straight into an overwhelmingly complex caseload?

You'll work across both adults and paediatrics, with an adult-heavy caseload and exposure to a broad range of functional Occupational Therapy.

It's particularly well suited to an Occupational Therapist who wants to become more confident across different areas of practice without being thrown immediately into extremely high-risk or highly complex work.

Your Caseload: The caseload is approximately:
60% Adults | 40% Paediatrics
Clients are aged 10 years and above.

You'll gain experience across:

- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Assistive Technology
- Wheelchair assessments
- Capacity-building intervention
- School-based paediatric work
- Adult disability
- NDIS
- Medico-legal assessments and reporting

This gives you genuine variety without having to choose between becoming solely a paediatric OT or solely an adult OT.

Your Working Week Your week will generally involve:




3 community days + 2 WFH days

You'll see approximately five clients per day, with appointments grouped geographically around Blacktown, St Marys and surrounding suburbs.

Most clinicians complete their community appointments by approximately 3pm, then finish documentation from home.

No Pressure to Be a Billing Machine. There is no heavily KPI-driven culture.
The organisation has broader monthly expectations that existing clinicians comfortably achieve through their normal work.

The priority is making sure assessments, interventions and reports are completed properly rather than pushing clinicians to fit additional clients into every available space.

Current Graduate Support: New graduates are very welcome.
You'll receive a structured six-month graduate program, including:

- Approximately 1.5 weeks of induction and shadowing
- Gradual introduction to clients
- Systems training
- Face-to-face weekly supervision
- Report review
- Professional development
- Progressive exposure to FCA, AT, wheelchairs and paediatric work

The goal is to gradually increase your confidence rather than expecting you to function like an experienced OT immediately.
